The inspiration for this brief initially came when looking at a design bog and finding the Ampersand issue that is created by a design student in Kansas. The publication showcases students work over a variety of medias, but focuses on print and type. Even though the publication doesn't focus on the subject of Ampersands i really liked the layout and it sparked me to think that nobody really uses ampersands at all these days in general literature and grammar, and they seem to be abolished form the language. They are only ever really seen in business titles for small to large corporations.
